Biomechanical Assessment

Start with Movement. Build Toward Performance.

Before we train smarter, we need to move better.

The Biomechanical Assessment is your first step at WorkRate Labs. It’s a focused, science-backed screen that looks at how your body moves—how your joints rotate, how your bones align, and where your movement may be restricted. These details shape everything that follows, from your warm-up to your workouts.

Why It Matters

Whether you're running, walking, or just getting stronger, your joints need to rotate properly. If they don’t, your movement becomes less efficient—and more prone to injury.

We’ve spent years studying the connection between how you move and how your body performs. And here’s what we know: You can’t separate movement from physiology. Good form supports good breathing. Better alignment improves endurance. It's all connected.

What We Measure

We assess the key areas that support everyday and athletic movement:

  • Hips, knees, and ankles

  • Spine and upper back

  • Shoulders and arm swing

  • How you move forward, side to side, and rotate

We’re not just checking flexibility—we’re checking how well your body works as a system.

What You Get

This assessment gives you:

  • A clear picture of your joint mobility and alignment

  • A personalized plan for corrective exercises

  • A tailored warm-up that fits your body’s needs

  • A movement baseline before advanced testing or training

Where It Fits

This is Step One in the WorkRate system. Before we test your running efficiency or build your endurance zones, we make sure your body is ready to handle the load. You’ll also repeat this assessment throughout your program to track your progress.
