SWEAT by WorkRate Labs × Socceroof
A structured train-to-play football system.
What is SWEAT?
SWEAT blends movement training, fitness, and controlled gameplay into one continuous football environment. Built within the fast-paced, futsal-style setting of Socceroof, sessions are designed to help players stay fit, sharpen skill, and continue developing through intentional play.
This is not random open play.
This is structured football development with purpose.
Why SWEAT?
Lack of fitness and movement skill are two of the biggest factors limiting player development.
SWEAT was built to address both.
We help players move better, manage fatigue, stay available, and perform more consistently when they return to their clubs and competitive environments.
What to Expect
Physical Preparation
Every session begins with structured movement and fitness work focused on coordination, speed, mechanics, power, and conditioning. Training is age-appropriate and designed to improve how players move, handle fatigue, and prepare for the demands of the game.
Structured Football Training & Gameplay
Players transition directly into coach-led, paced gameplay built around continuous movement, high repetition, and intentional competition. The goal is simple: connect fitness and movement development directly back into real football performance.
Developmental Age Groups
10–12 | Foundational
An obstacle course-style training environment focused on movement quality, coordination, running mechanics, and foundational athletic development. Sessions blend play, movement, and introductory football actions to build confidence and physical literacy through fun, high-energy repetition.
13–15 | Developmental
Players transition into more structured performance training with an increased focus on speed, power, conditioning, change of direction, and intentional competition. Sessions are designed to build capacity and prepare players for higher-level competitive environments.
16+ | Performance
Our highest-level training environment focused on strength, high-level conditioning, and advanced gameplay. Sessions integrate heart rate monitors to track physiological load, guide intensity, and prepare players for higher levels of play through objective performance training.
The WorkRate Ecosystem
SWEAT is the entry point into a wider football development system—combining fitness testing, player profiling, wearable-integrated analytics, and objective performance tracking to support long-term player development within New York City.
